Post Office

Perfect, charming, and peaceful cabin. Just what I needed. The cabin is rustic and cozy. The couch and bed were extremely comfortable. The tub a definite plus. The location is convenient to so many things (~5mi) while you feel secluded in the woods away from the world. There is a cabin next door, however it is staggered and I was never disturbed even with other guests staying there my first night. The breakfast delivery is a wonderful way to start the day. Wifi was pretty consistent. Already looking forward to staying again.

. We stumbled upon Stevenson Ridge as a halfway stopping point for travel off of 95 and we are so glad we did! We even decided to stay two nights to get some R&R. The post office has every amenity needed and was spotless clean. Our dog was so glad to have the relaxing woods and special treats left by the owners upon arrival. We happened to catch a local fireworks display from the field on the property even. Close distance to downtown Fredericksburg if you want to get out and about, but we enjoyed staying on the historical site and ordering breakfast in, which did not disappoint! We cannot say enough great things about Stevenson Ridge. First, all of the hosts were so friendly and communicative, reaching out to make sure we had everything we needed and answering our questions so quickly. I highly recommend taking advantage of the extras offered – the charcuterie board, s’mores, and breakfast baskets were delicious and also gave us more time to relax in the cabin instead of venturing outside! There were treats for our pup too, as well as thoughtful touches like a dog-specific blanket and extra waste bags. Lastly, when I forgot a bag in the cabin, they went above and beyond to notify me right away and send me the bag, which was a lifesaver. Definitely book for your next romantic getaway!
