from Bettina
Autumn is, without a doubt, my most favorite time of the year. It’s not because my birthday is in the fall (well ok, maybe that has a little something to do with it) but fall just seems to bring a reboot of life. As F. Scott Fitzgerald says, “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” There is just something about the cool crisp air, and crunch of leaves under your feet, to make you feel alive again.
One of the things my friends and I do every October is to make sure we go to the pumpkin patch together to pick our own pumpkins, and then we have a pumpkin-carving contest! Naturally, my pumpkin is always the best! 😉
Can you guess which one is mine in the picture?
Visit one of our area farms to pick your own pumpkin!
